Raindrop Technique is a powerful, non-invasive tool for helping to correct defects in the curvature of the spine and support in whole
body detoxification by utilizing the antiviral, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory action of several key therapeutic-grade essential
oils. During the years that it has been practiced, it has resolved numerous cases of scoliosis, kyphosis, and chronic back and
neck pain and eliminated the need for back surgery for thousands of people.
Raindrop Technique originated from the research of D. Gary Young, ND and a Lakota medicine man in the 1970s. It integrates Vita
Flex Technique which means “vitality through the reflexes” (a specialized form of massage that is exceptionally effective in
delivering the benefits of essential oils throughout the body) and other massage techniques with essential oils to bring the body
into structural and electrical alignment. Raindrop Technique is based on the theory that many types of spinal misalignments are
caused by viruses or bacteria that lie dormant along the spine. These pathogens create inflammation, which, in turn, contorts and
disfigures the spinal column.
Raindrop Technique uses a sequence of highly antimicrobial essential oils designed to simultaneously reduce inflammation and
kill the viral agents responsible for it. The principle oils used are: thyme, oregano/mountain savory, wintergreen/birch, cypress,
peppermint, basil, and marjoram (with other oils and oil blends utilized as needed). The oils are dispensed like little drops of rain
from a height of about six inches above the back and massaged along the vertebrae and into the insoles of both feet. Although the
entire process takes about 50 minutes to complete, the oils will continue to work in the body for 5 to 7 days following treatment,
with continued re-alignment taking place during this time.
A number of medical professionals throughout the United States have adopted Raindrop Technique in their clinical practice and
have found it to be an outstanding resource for aiding sciatica, scoliosis, kyphosis, chronic back pain, and other ailments. Ken
Krieger, DC states “As a chiropractor, I believe that the dramatic results of Raindrop Technique are enough for me to rewrite the
books on scoliosis.” Terry Friedman, MD states “these essential oils truly represent a new frontier of medicine; they have resolved
cases that many professionals had regarded as hopeless.”
